
This Valentine’s Day, join the botanists of Shoots & Roots Bitters on a sensual tasting journey at the new Alchemist’s Kitchen, opening in Spring 2016.
Botanists Rachel Meyer, Selena Ahmed, and Ashley DuVal of Shoots & Roots Bitters will guide a tasting of three cocktails created of plants traditionally used for love tonics and mild aphrodisiacs as well as plants recognized for their sensual appeal. Each cocktail will represent plants from a different geography, ecology and culture that will be highlighted in the guided tasting along with concepts and activities on the science of taste.
The cocktail offering will be paired by small vegan bites by in-house chef of The Alchemist’s Kitchen Tonic Bar and chocolates by in-house Chocolatier, Cocorau.
